This is a no-fail, delicious steak dinner once you have established cooking time under your grill.
3-pound sirloin steak (should be 1 – 2 inches thick)

2

Heaping tablespoons prepared mustard (Gulden’s Spicy Brown or Dijon)
Freshly ground pepper
Outerbridge’s Original Sherry Peppers Sauce

¼

Cup good red or white wine

Preheat grill. If fat on side of meat is thick, make deep scores across it, about 2 inches apart, so steak will not curl. Spread mustard over steak by pulling fork tines lightly over steak in crossways parallel lines. Sprinkle ground pepper and Outerbridge’s Original Sherry Peppers Sauce over. Grill steak, mustard side up, about 3 – 4 inches below heat and let cook on one side 10 – 15 minutes for rare. (Cook the steak on one side if you prefer one well-roasted side to two medium-cooked sides. If the steak is about 1 ½ inches thick, it takes about 10 minutes; but if it is almost 2 inches thick, it might need to be turned over and grilled on the other side for a few minutes longer.) Remove from fire and immediately pour on wine. Cut crossways, on a slant, in thin strips about ¼ inch thick, and let slices sit in pan juices for the moment until you finish slicing enough for 4 servings. Serve with a good red Beaujolais!
